Kenny Mullins is a Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist originally hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida, where his musical journey first took root amid the vibrant Sunshine State scene. Renowned for his genre-blending prowess that effortlessly fuses pop, country, reggae, R&B, and soul, Mullins has carved out a reputation as a highly sought-after collaborator, bridging the worlds of recording artists and sync licensing with his instinctive ear for hooks and innovative production flair.
His career launched as a founding member of the Florida pop/reggae outfit Resinated, where he honed his craft through extensive national touring and electrifying performances alongside heavyweight acts like Dirty Heads, UB40, Erykah Badu, Wiz Khalifa, and The Wailers—experiences that built his stage presence and deepened his understanding of live energy translating to the studio. Transitioning seamlessly into professional songwriting and production, Mullins has since partnered with an elite roster of industry veterans, including Justin Gray (John Legend and Avril Lavigne), Eddie Gore (Roy Orbison, Randy Travis), Peter Amato (The Voice), Matthew Gerrard (Hilary Duff, Jonas Brothers), Kevin Savigar (Rod Stewart), Brian Malouf (Michael Jackson, Queen), Chris Gehringer (Rihanna, Lady Gaga), and Marty James (Luis Fonsi, Justin Bieber), among others—collaborations that have sharpened his technical mastery and expanded his creative network.
To date, Mullins' diverse catalog has amassed over 300 million streams worldwide, a testament to his ability to craft resonant, commercial tracks that connect deeply with global audiences. His music has earned prestigious sync placements across high-profile television and streaming platforms, including standout features on The Kardashians, Bar Rescue, and Rescue: Hi-Surf, to name a few- as well as broader integrations on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and Apple TV—highlighting his knack for scoring moments that demand emotional impact and sonic polish. Beyond his core production and writing pursuits, Mullins proudly holds membership in ASCAP and serves as a dedicated producer, songwriter, and A&R representative for Helping Our Music Evolve (H.O.M.E.), a Nashville nonprofit recording studio committed to nurturing emerging talent and fostering community-driven music initiatives. Mullins curates tracks at RCA, BMG and his home studio in Sango, TN.
